30 Hour Famine

30 Hour Famine Lock-In
March 7-8
Friday 4pm – Saturday 1pm
What is the 30 Hour Famine? The 30 Hour Famine is an international youth movement to fight hunger! During the famine we will be playing a game called TRIBE (similar to Survivor). This game will be a fun way to learn about the challenges and hardships people in developing countries face each day like getting clean water, finding food, and building stable shelter. You can learn more at www.30hourfamine.org

Do we get to eat during the Famine? Yes, you can eat during the event, but it will not be food from your usual diet. We will be serving small meals of rice and beans throughout the event. This will give you a real feeling of what most people eat in developing countries, that is, if they have the luxury of food. On Saturday at noon we will celebrate our accomplishment with a Papa John’s Pizza Party!

How much does it cost to come? Just $13 per person (includes pizza party and bowling and laser tag at Brunswick Zone), you can bring some extra money to spend at Brunswick Zone if you wish.

Can I invite my friends? Absolutely, this event is for anyone in the 7th-12th grade. Just make sure you and your friends register.

How do I register? Email Jennifer Walker at jennifer@stpaulsuccmo.org you must register by Wednesday March 5.
