Heritage Days Weekend October 17-19, Chili Supper and Parade
Friday October 17 we will kickoff the weekend with a Chili Supper at church followed by a card party. Proceeds from this event will go to youth programs. Youth and their families are encouraged to help serve or clean up. After dinner we will be working on our float for the parade. Sunday October 19 is the parade. It begins at 1:00pm from Marthasville Elementary. If you would like to participate in the parade post a comment below. Sign up sheets are at the YAC Table.

Trunk R Treat – Saturday October 25, 6:00-8:00pm
The following information was posted in the church newsletter. Let us know if you would like to help.
Trunk-R-Treat is a safe and fun way to celebrate this Halloween. We need volunteers to decorate the trunks of their cars and be prepared to hand out candy to the trunk-r-treaters. Then we need lots of children and families to dress up and go “trunk-r-treating” to each trunk lined up in the church parking lot. The youth group will be running some fun fall games and we will be serving hot dogs and other snacks. We invite everyone to take part in this fun fall event. We are hoping this will be a great outreach event for the community, so invite your friends, family and neighbors. Sign up sheets are in the church hallway if you would like to participate. Christian Skate Night - Tuesday November 4, 6-8pm
Check out the Skaterz web site listed above. This will be a fun event and it is pretty cheap, just $4 per person plus skate rental.
